Got really bored of how I was drawing Macaque and Mayor so I took a shot at 'humanizing' them.

Macaque's design is heavily inspired by these two artists I made some sketches off of (so much so that I might as well just be straight up copying them):

I don't have enough experience with the mystic Mayor's character to be able to ship him with Macaque...

I assume it's "opposites attract" that bring people into the ship, with the Mayor being 100% loyal to the Lady Bone Demon while Macaque was anything but?

Sooooo, to deal with this, feel free to send me over any headcanons for them together because I'm morbidly curious about any ships related to Macaque!

I absolutely love the Blue and Violet series by SmolBee29 on ao3/amazingdeadfish on tumblr. I found it from their Killing Kind animatic on youtube and I just love that one frame with Macaque under the umbrella. So, I animated it. (Also I'm new to tumblr and social media in general, so if I did something wrong, please let me know)

Thank you all for all the love this blog has gotten! It was so much fun doing this over the past year, and I'm I can't believe how many people have participated and/or have supported this by following along with the journey! However, as all good things must come to an end, this is where I make my farewell :))).

While I had debated repurposing this as a blog specifically for potential future Blue and Violet content, I inevitably decided to leave it be as it is. This blog won't be deleted, it will stay up! But the inbox will unfortunately never open again.

Over time I will update the Masterpost so that all of the asks are interlinked with each other for easier viewing, but other than that, this place will be left untouched!

Here is a small farewell doodle of our favourite legos snoozing. Don't disturb them, they need their rest :')))).

Baihe's not judging Macaque for the gay. She's judging him for who he's gay for. Also those are purple peonies in the first picture. I know how to draw flowers. This is based on chapter 24 of Winter Mornings, Summer Nights by Smolbee29 (ao3)/Amazingdeadfish (tumblr)

(Also I'm working on a new BAV animation. This could be a hint for it hehe)
